Collaborative EP following a workshop with 7 female survivors of modern slavery and trafficking, who are currently under the protection and care of Migrant Help UK.

The music is based around a poem created by the women using deep listening and reflection exercises, with words and songs in Pidgin, Yoruba, Urdu, Albanian, Spanish & Hindi Tongues. Field recordings captured by the participants.

The release is a digital download & 15 Limited edition USB devices made from pieces of sunken boat wood, with all music and artworks transferred onto the USB component, which is detachable/re-attachable. Each USB wooden device is unique and constructed by hand by myself personally.

All the profits from this release will fund one-to-one additional trauma therapies for the women in care.

The names and faces of participants have been obscured for safety reasons.

Migrants are not statistics, they are amazing, creative human beings who often have been subjected to great persecution, and deserve our kindness and compassion.

Release date 8th March 2024.

A PDF of the workshop process is included in the bonus materials.
